For AU Individualized Study students, this means that they need to be actively registered in four, 3-credit courses, all commencing on the same start date. (4 x 3 = 12; 12 credits/six month contract = 2 credits per month).

Graduate Non-Funded

In order for non-funded graduate students (students who are not receiving government student financial aid) to be granted full-time status, the minimum course load required is .75 credits per month. For AU graduate students, this means they need to be actively registered in one, 3-credit course to be full time for four months (3 credits/four-month contract = .75 credits per month) or two, 3-credit, six-month individualized study courses, commencing on the same start date. (3 credits x 2 = 6; 6 credits/six month contract = 1 credit per month).

In order to request a confirmation or verification of enrolment status letter or to have the verification document completed, you must be an active student, actively registered in a course(s). For more information, contact Enrolment Services at nonfunded@athabascau.ca.

Please note: It takes up to 15 to 20 business days to process all verification of enrolment requests.
