DegreeWorks is a web-based, academic advising and degree audit solution that works with Banner, AU’s student information system. DegreeWorks automatically retrieves the student’s academic record from Banner and organizes it into an educational plan on the web, easily identifying program requirements, which courses have been completed and which courses students still need in order to complete their degrees, diplomas or certificates.
DegreeWorks is available to all undergraduate program students who have enrolled in a degree, diploma or university certificate at Athabasca University since September 2010. You will not see your program details in the student view of the DegreeWorks worksheet until your admission status is finalized and your evaluation of transfer credit (if applicable) is complete. Students in graduate programs will begin to have access to DegreeWorks in early 2014.
DegreeWorks can be accessed within myAU and OROS.
All student information is confidential. Student information is available only to those who need access to it for their roles and responsibilities at the University.
Students should contact their advisors with any questions about the information on the worksheet or about the program itself.
Students cannot register for courses in DegreeWorks. To register for a course, students need to log in to their myAU account and click on Register in a Course under Manage Your Courses on the left-hand side of the screen.
The information in DegreeWorks is updated nightly.
